About

I have been a CEO in four tech companies over 15 years, all of which I started, built, and grew. One of my startups sold for $70 million in 2000;  another, Mission Research, is still growing and is a leading software provider to the nonprofit sector. Last summer I started a new thing, which I work on when I’m not helping other organizations.

As a serial Founder/CEO I’ve had a set of startup experiences relevant to most business startups, including raising money, designing and launching new disruptive, award-winning products, and building teams.

MENTORING | COACHING | CONSULTING
Startups are tough. Decision-making is tough at times. I’ve been there and can help you bring clarity to both your daily work and long-term vision.

I consult to startups, established companies, investors, founders, and CEOs of companies looking to improve, catalyze rapid growth, develop and structure funding, refine product strategies, and navigate difficult governance issues.

Personal–I’m happily married, have two dogs, and live in Lancaster, PA. I’m on the board of the School District of Lancaster, which has 11,300 wonderful students and a great staff of committed professionals. I’ve donated over 30% of my stock to donor-advised funds, and have deep interest in catalyzing positive change whenever I can.
